VC Bird International Airport operates from a single-terminal facility, which operates both international and domestic flights. Air Canada and American Airlines both offer services to North America and British Airways connects with the UK and the rest of Europe. Several Caribbean-based airlines offer connections to nearby islands. Barbuda is the only domestic connection available.
VC Bird Airport is the island's only airport and it offers all essential facilities. An information counter is situated on the ground level of the terminal. A variety of shopping options are available including souvenir shops, news stands and retailers offering travel accessories and other items. A duty-free shop is also available. Dining options are limited to a single restaurant and one bar.
An ATM is available 24 hours and banking facilities also include a bureau de change. A post office is open from 08:30 to 15:00, Monday to Friday. The airport does not offer any business facilities and the nearest facility with conference rooms is located three kilometres away at the Beach Comber Hotel.
Facilities exist for disabled persons and include wheelchair access as well as adapted toilets. The terminal is equipped with ramps and a lift, and individual airlines can offer assistance to passengers upon request.
